A Timeless Endorsement: Our Appearance in Tatler Magazine

It's always a privilege to see our pieces featured in a prestigious publication, and we were thrilled when Tatler magazine reached out for their main fashion story in the September issue.

A Game of Cluedo with Killer Style

The shoot was a wonderfully creative take on the classic board game, "A Game of Cluedo." Each character was styled with impeccable, killer fashion, posing in the very rooms where the mystery might have unfolded.

Our moment in the spotlight came with Colonel Mustard, who was pictured in the study, dagger in hand. She casts a composed and powerful gaze at the reader from behind a classic yellow gold monocle — a striking image that perfectly challenges the outdated notion that monocles are an accessory reserved only for men.

Editor’s Note

This feature is from our 2010 blog archives, and the original gold-galleried monocle from the Tatler shoot is now a treasured part of our own archive. While that specific piece is no longer available, you can achieve the same classic style with our current gold monocle below, or browse our full collection of monocles for other options.

Classic Gold Monocle (Non-Galleried) | 38mm & 40mm Sizes
from £60.00

A classic non-galleried monocle in a polished gold-coloured finish, available in a choice of 38mm or 40mm diameter. The traditional design features a serrated outer edge and, unlike our galleried version, has no raised rear gallery.

Each monocle is glazed to order at a UK optical laboratory with a CR39 lens in your chosen strength, and comes complete with a fine black monocle cord and cotton storage pouch. A real leather monocle case is also available as an optional extra.
